Role Overview:

RPG Life Sciences is seeking a dynamic, results-driven National Sales Manager to lead our Cardio and Urology business portfolio. The incumbent will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building a high-performing sales team. This role requires strategic vision, execution excellence, and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable sales plans to achieve aggressive growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Business Growth

Develop and execute a robust national sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and substantially grow the business more than the industry average growth

Design territory-wise, segment-wise, and product-wise growth plans.

Analyze market trends, competition, and customer insights to identify opportunities and risks.

Ensure alignment of sales strategy with overall business objectives.

2. Team Leadership & Performance Management

Lead, mentor, and motivate a field force of 160 sales personnel.

Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and monitor performance regularly.

Build capability through structured training, coaching, and field interventions.

Foster a high-performance, accountable, and result-driven sales culture.

Implement succession planning and talent development within the team.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Liaisoning

Work closely with Marketing to design campaigns, promotions, and product launches.

Liaise with Distribution, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure optimal product availability.

Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance and KOL engagement.

Partner with Finance and Analytics teams for forecasting, budgeting, and performance review.

4. Key Account Management & Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hospitals, and institutional clients.

Identify and develop strategic accounts to maximize revenue and market penetration.

Ensure timely execution of business plans and sales initiatives in priority accounts.

5. Reporting & Analytics

Monitor and report sales performance, market share, and growth metrics to senior management.

Use insights from data to optimize territory management, sales force deployment, and promotional activities.

6. Compliance & Ethics

Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Promote ethical behavior and transparency in all business interactions.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Proven track record of leading and scaling pharmaceutical sales in Cardio/Urology or related therapeutic areas.

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

Exceptional team management and leadership skills; ability to inspire and drive a large sales force.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights to drive decisions.

Results-oriented with a focus on achieving aggressive growth targets.

Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with Marketing, Distribution, Medical, and Finance teams.

Education & Experience:

Education: Graduate in Life Sciences / Pharmacy / MBA in Marketing or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 15 years in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 3 years in a national sales leadership role. Experience in Cardiology and Urology segments preferred.
