Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Officer – Commercial to support commercial operations and contract management activities at the Head Office. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating commercial processes, maintaining documentation, supporting procurement and billing activities, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, review, and management of commercial documents, contracts, work orders, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with project teams, procurement, finance, legal, and other stakeholders for smooth commercial operations.
- Support vendor onboarding, contract administration, and commercial compliance activities.
- Monitor contract terms, payment milestones, and commercial obligations to ensure timely execution.
- Process and track invoices, bills, and payment-related documentation.
- Maintain commercial records, agreements, correspondence, and reports in an organized manner.
- Assist in preparing commercial proposals, cost estimates, and bid-related documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve commercial and contractual issues.
- Support budget monitoring, cost tracking, and financial reconciliation activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Generate periodic MIS reports and provide commercial data analysis for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- MBA or PGDM in Finance/Operations will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in commercial operations, contract management, procurement support, finance coordination, or related functions.
- Experience in EPC, infrastructure, construction, renewable energy, manufacturing, or similar industries will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of commercial processes, contracts, and documentation management.
- Knowledge of billing procedures, purchase orders, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems such as SAP.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
