Officer - Engineering Services

Summary: Responsible for the design and engineering of LV/MV/HV electrical and instrumentation systems for water treatment plants, pumping stations and associated power infrastructure, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable standards and client requirements.

Qualification: B. Tech in EEE / EIE / ECE from a recognized university; M. Tech is preferable

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare electrical design deliverables including load schedules, single line diagrams, cable sizing and voltage-drop calculations, equipment layouts, earthing and lightning protection layouts, and lighting layouts.

Design power distribution systems comprising transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFD/soft-starter feeders and auxiliary systems for WTPs and pumping stations.

Review P&IDs and process data to size motors and feeders, and coordinate interfaces with process, mechanical, civil and instrumentation teams.

Prepare technical specifications, BOQs and tender documents, and review vendor offers and drawings for technical compliance.

Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems at site.

Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of LV/MV/HV power system design for water/power infrastructure.

Proficiency in electrical calculations and preparation of design drawings and documents.

Experience in preparing and reviewing instrument index, I/O list, instrument data sheets

Working knowledge of relevant standards and codes.

Knowledge in design tools such as DIALux and AutoCAD.

Good coordination, communication and documentation skills.
