Job Purpose

To manage site store operations efficiently by ensuring proper receipt, storage, preservation, issuance, and accounting of materials required for wind power project execution while maintaining accurate inventory records and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day store operations at the project site.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, equipment, and consumables.
  • Ensure proper storage, preservation, and identification of materials to prevent loss or damage.
  • Maintain inventory records and stock registers in SAP and other company systems.
  • Issue materials to user departments as per approved requisitions and maintain documentation.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement and project teams for timely replenishment.
  • Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Track movement of project materials, tools, and equipment across site locations.
  • Ensure proper documentation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips (MIS), gate passes, and other store-related records.
  • Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and logistics teams for material receipt and dispatch activities.
  • Maintain housekeeping, safety, and security standards within the store premises.
  • Support project teams by ensuring timely availability of materials for uninterrupted project execution.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and material consumption reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations related to stores management.
