Competencies Required | 1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering 2. Minimum of 12 years of experience in quality management, with a focus on precision machining or similar manufacturing processes. 3. Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC). 4. Experience with quality standards and regulations relevant to precision engineering, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent. 5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives. 6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 7. Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a systematic approach to root cause analysis and problem resolution. 8. Proficiency in quality management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications. |

Duties & Responsibilities | 1. Develop and implement quality processes and procedures at suppliers to ensure the highest standards of precision and accuracy in machined components. 2. Establish and maintain quality standards, specifications, and inspection criteria for all machined components, in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements. 3. Lead and manage a team of Supplier quality engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of quality assurance activities. 4. Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Production, Inhouse Quality and SCM teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring continuous improvement in product quality and reliability. 5. Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments of manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. 6.Conduct regular meetings with customer to understand their requirements, FM and complaints discussion. 7. Investigate and address customer complaints and non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary to prevent recurrence. 8. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components meets required standards. 9. Stay informed about advancements in precision machining technology, industry trends, and regulatory requirements, and incorporate relevant changes into the quality management system. 10. Prepare and present quality performance reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting areas of strength and opportunities for improvement. 11. Champion a culture of quality and excellence throughout the organization, fostering a proactive approach to quality assurance and continuous improvement. |
