JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of the job includes overseeing Supplier Quality Assurance processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. This involves managing supplier audits, driving continual improvement initiatives, and implementing quality management systems. Additionally, the role involves handling New Product Development quality aspects, ensuring that new projects meet customer requirements and quality standards. Overall, the purpose is to maintain and enhance product quality, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction through effective quality management practices and continuous improvement efforts.

DIMENSIONS:

                                                                                                                                                                                                                         KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Monthly MIS preparation for SQA, NPD activity.
• Customer complaint handling, 8D report preparations & closure of customer complaints on customer Portal for NPD & OSP parts.
• PPAP documents preparation for New, existing & ECN parts
• Handling NPD quality for new projects for automotive and export customers.
• Yearly supplier audit for all approved suppliers, audit observations closure.
• Responsible for NPD QA Activities.
• Responsible for the preparation of test reports for the inhouse, outsource & new development products as per customer requirement and as per the specified standard.
• Responsible Continual improvement / kaizen / POKAYOKE activities at Supplier end
• Drive supplier development program.
• Responsible for TQM & TPM implementation of QM pillar at supplier end.
• Responsible for OSP projects at supplier end, like EPDM tube, RSTI compound, Link box, PMP, Plastic moulded parts.
• Responsible to implement Supplier self-certification programme at identified suppliers as per defined timeline
• Support in new vendor development & product development trials along with CFT and strategic sourcing team.
• CFT member for cost reduction Project for the packaging material, OSP product processing cost & development of alternate RM source.
• Training to company staff, Quality inspectors, Operators on different quality requirements, documentation etc.

1. Proficient in implementing and managing quality control systems ISO 9001
2. Knowledge of Rubber Molding & Extrusion Process
3. Skilled in conducting supplier audits and driving corrective actions for continuous improvement.
4. Experienced in resolving customer complaints at supplier ends.
5. Capable of analyzing data and preparing comprehensive reports for decision-making.
6. Proficient in PPAP.
7. Knowledgeable in TQM & TPM methodology.
8. Should be Internal Auditor ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018
