JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to oversee and ensure the quality standards of construction activities for our metro rail projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in QA/QC roles, particularly in civil infrastructure or metro rail projects, with a solid understanding of construction methods, codes, and quality management systems

 Detail Engineering:

  1. Implement and maintain the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plan for civil construction activities in metro projects.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits of site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards (IS codes, IRC, ASTM, BS, etc.), and quality management systems (ISO 9001).
  3. Review and approve method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and quality documentation submitted by contractors.
  4. Monitor construction materials, workmanship, and processes for conformity with approved drawings and specifications.
  5. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  6. Maintain records of inspection and testing activities, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), corrective actions, and quality KPIs.
  7. Facilitate third-party inspections and certifications as required.
  8. Train site staff on QA/QC procedures, ensure proper documentation, and foster a quality-centric culture at the site.
  9. Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and legal compliance in quality assurance procedures.
