Job Title: Structural Design Coordinator

Job Overview: The Structural Design Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the design of structural elements for construction projects. This role involves working closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure that the structural design is efficient, safe, and in line with project specifications. The coordinator manages design processes, communicates with stakeholders, and ensures compliance with regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage structural design activities for projects from inception to completion.
• Review and analyze structural design drawings and specifications to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other professionals to develop integrated designs.
• Monitor and track design progress, ensuring that milestones are met within the timeline and budget.
• Review and resolve any design-related issues that arise during the course of the project.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards and adhere to local building codes and regulations.
• Coordinate design revisions and manage the communication of updates to all relevant parties.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers.
• Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, decisions, and approvals.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure that structural design is implemented according to the plans.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and other documents for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts related to structural design challenges.
