Key Deliverables
1.Lead the creation and testing of AC/DC chargers for electric vehicles, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
2.Expertise in power electronics and EV charging protocols to enhance charger efficiency, reliability, and system performance.
3.Design, construct, and evaluate full-scale charger prototypes and testing infrastructure.
4.Develop hardware for single-phase AC & DC portable chargers.
5.Choose appropriate hardware components, consider EMI/EMC, manage electrical/thermal aspects, and develop prototypes meeting product requirements.
6.Simulate power electronics systems, including analog, logical, and digital electronics, and debug product functionality.
7.Ensure qualifications of SMPS, power modules of AC DC converters, and compliance with high-frequency, efficient, and cost-optimized design standards.
8.Perform thorough testing and validation of charger systems to meet industry standards and safety regulations.
9.Comprehend and follow International (IEC) & Indian Standards (IS) for product development and testing.
10.Maintain comprehensive documentation for manufacturing and troubleshooting, and engage in iterative prototyping and testing against performance and reliability standards.
11.Regularly benchmark competition and analyze the market for new technologies to stay ahead.
12.Innovative thinking for new charger system designs.
13.Define specifications and conduct experimental validation tests on new developments.
14.Engage with cross-functional project teams, including product development, supply chain, operations, and product management.

Qualification & Experience
B.Tech in EEE or M.Tech in Power Electronics/Electric Vehicle Technology with a minimum of 8 years in EV charger development for commercial and passenger vehicles.
Skilled in CAD software like Altium Designer or OrCAD, and simulation tools such as PSpice, SIMULIA.
Deep knowledge of EV charging protocols like CCS, CHAdeMO, and regulatory standards like SAE J1772, IEC 61851, BIS & CE.
Experience with thermal management, power distribution, and safety in high-power electronics (> 5 kW).
Knowledge of equipment safety in hazardous conditions, human safety, and RF (EMI/EMC) regulatory compliances.
Familiarity with V2G technologies, wireless charging standards, and wireless communication protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM, etc.).
Experience in designing electrical circuits considering safety, regulatory, and performance parameters, and hands-on lab experience with EV systems.
Previous work with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers in the EV industry, including knowledge of EV charging network management systems.
Relevant experience with IEC/IS certifications and compliances for EV charging systems, and awareness of the latest trends in EV charging.
