External Job Description

• Oil filled transformers like Power , Distribution , IDT , Furnace and Special Type . Competency to design upto 60MVA/132kV .
• Able to calculate weight, volume and stress / strength & other mechanical calculations for transformer core frames and tanks.
• Knowledge of Automation for developing programme.
• Able to perform 3D modelling with excel linkup, VBA Macros & drawing capabilities to reduce overall cycle time of drawings.
• Capable of checking drawings prepared by Team members.
• Adhere to departmental standardization and developing it further with sole aim to reduce time and errors.
• Able prepare BOMs, & related documentation in line with System requirement.
• Needs to develop automation process in modelling and drawing generation.
• Ensuring departmental KPIs and maintaining required database.
• Support to continual improvement programme by analysing and taking corrective actions on NCRs & customer complaints.
• Sound Knowledge of transformer equipment’s & accessories.
• Adherence to timelines to meet business goals.
• Resolution of Customer complaint with RCA and CAPA alongwith horizontal deployment.
• Techno commercial knowledge will have added advantage.
• Understanding of National / International standards related to transformers.
• Well versatile with ISO processes and documentation.
• Experience in new product development & validation
• Reverse engineering to support service and repair segment.
• Technical discussion with suppliers and support in developing new materials and suppliers.
• Ensuring departmental KPIs and maintaining required database
• Focus on standardisation & optimisation.
