Senior Engineer - Execution

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all civil construction activities for high-rise residential projects from foundation to finishing.
• Supervise RCC works, structural works, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing works, and external development.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standards as per company procedures and relevant codes.
• Identify construction issues and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company HSE policies at the project site.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
• Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completion certificates.
• Review and reconcile material consumption to minimize wastage.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules and take proactive measures to achieve milestones.
• Coordinate with the planning department for look-ahead schedules and resource planning.
• Ensure timely closure of snag lists and handover activities.
• Maintain site documentation, including work permits, inspection records, and quality checklists.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of RCC construction for high-rise residential buildings.
• Experience in execution of raft foundations, shear walls, post-tension slabs (preferred), and high-rise structural systems.
• Good understanding of finishing works, waterproofing, and façade execution.
• Familiarity with construction methodologies, sequencing, and productivity improvement.
• Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of IS Codes, QA/QC procedures, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software such as Primavera or MS Project is preferred.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in executing high-rise residential building projects.
• Proven experience in handling multiple construction activities simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Experience in coordinating with consultants, clients, and government authorities will be an added advantage.
