Senior Engineer - Planning

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.

• Prepare baseline schedules, manpower histograms, S-curves, and resource allocation plans.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather progress data and update schedules.

• Monitor project performance against baseline schedule and highlight variances/delays.

• Provide monthly, weekly, and daily project progress reports for management and client review.

• Support project management in developing recovery plans, catch-up schedules, and extension-of-time claims.

• Conduct delay analysis, critical path reviews, and risk assessment studies.

• Participate in project review meetings with client/consultant/subcontractors.

• Ensure planning and scheduling deliverables comply with contract requirements.

• Interface with cost control, contracts, and procurement teams for integrated project controls.

• Train and guide junior planning engineers in schedule development and reporting.
