JOB PURPOSE/ VALUE ADDITION
Onboarding & Induction is responsible for designing, managing, and continuously improving the onboarding experience for new employees. This role ensures a smooth transition for new hires, fosters engagement, and promotes alignment with company values, policies, and culture. The specialist collaborates with multiple departments to ensure compliance, efficiency, and a positive first impression of the organization.

Onboarding Process Management:
1.Standardizes onboarding processes, ensuring consistency in employee experience
2. Coordinate pre-boarding activities – pre-employment medicals, background verification, Kleeto documentation, pre-visit planning and assistance for accommodation for outstation
3. Coordinating onboarding at COE and with location HR - Ensure all necessary IT and workplace arrangements (email, system access, ID cards, workstation setup, etc.) are in place before the employee’s start date and handed over to the employee on day of joining
4. Employee announcement: Collaborate with location SPOCs and management welcome emails on day of joining
5. Assign mentors or buddies to new employees for smoother cultural integration
6. Identify gaps in the onboarding process and propose enhancements.
7. Implement technology solutions to automate and streamline onboarding workflows.

Induction: 
1.Organize and facilitate orientation sessions, ensuring new hires understand company policies, benefits, and expectations.
2.Manage the common induction every month for new hires
3.Collaborate with hiring managers and facilitate business/functional induction
4.Identify gaps in the onboarding process and propose enhancements
5.Campus induction – managing the induction for summer internship programme and management trainees, GMR.

Kleeto documentation: 
1.Ensure completion of all document formalities, including signing of appointment letter, statutory documents, and confidentiality agreements.
2.Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
Conduct regular check-ins with new hires to address concerns and gather feedback.
