Assistant Manager - Production

Responsibilities -

•    Handling end-to-end Manufacturing of Compounding section for Ebeam ZHFR Compounding & Rubber Compounding.
•    Responsible for processes like Kneader, Twin Screw Extruder, Palletizer, Cooling Unit, Two-Roll Calendar, Rubber Mixing Mill, Silo, Vibrator etc.
•    Take care of the process parameter as per the formulation and recipe. Collaborating with R&D, NPD and production teams.
•    Ensure there is no over consumption of materials and manage scrap as per the Bill of Material (BOM).
•    Planning & Scheduling for Compound manufacturing process according to work order for various types of compounds like; Ebeam ZHFR, PE, EPR, EVA, EPDM, CPE, CSP, NBR, Silicon, Semicon etc.
•    Planning for Raw material, Man, Machine, Method technically at shop floor and inter department communication.
•    Resolving technical issues on the shop floor and basic maintenance of machines.
•    Maintaining Consumption report, Daily Production report.
•    Time study for increasing productivity and ramp-up production.
•    Analysis and recommendation of solution for the frequent Problems. 
•    Achieving targets within stipulated time period by proper Machine planning and execution while maintaining quality.
•    Control manpower requirements for delivering KRA.
•    Various methods Scrap control and taking steps towards minimizing process scrap.

Qualification : BE / Btech - Plastic Technology

Technical – 
•    Knowledge of self-management teams (SMT) (Exclusively for Vadodara plant)
•    Product and Process knowledge of Ebeam ZHFR & Rubber Compound Production.
•    Knowledge of SAP or any ERP, Advance Excel, PPT, MS Office.
•    Implementing the concept of 5S and KAIZEN in the workplace.

Functional:  
•    Knowledge of national and international specifications of compounds & Cables.
•    Responsible for keeping a check on product process and quality.
•    Responsible of Inventory Management and Stock activity.

Behavioral: 
•    Good in Communication & Presentation Skills
•    JDE system skills
•    Problem solving skills (six sigma experience)
