External Job Description

Sales & Operations Planning Support

  • Support monthly and weekly S&OP planning activities.
  • Consolidate sales forecasts and customer requirements from sales teams.
  • Prepare demand and supply planning reports and MIS.
  • Track forecast accuracy and highlight deviations.
  • Coordinate with production, SCM, and sales teams for demand-supply alignment.

Production Planning & Coordination

  • Prepare production plans based on customer orders and forecast requirements.
  • Monitor daily production schedules and ensure adherence to plan.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to address production constraints.
  • Track order execution and highlight delays or risks.
  • Support capacity utilization monitoring and planning activities.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement and stores teams to ensure material availability.
  • Track slow-moving and excess inventory and recommend corrective actions

Customer Order & Dispatch Coordination

  • Track order status from receipt to dispatch.
  • Coordinate with logistics and customer support teams for timely deliveries.

MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Maintain S&OP dashboards and performance trackers.

Process Improvement

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and operations.
  • Support SAP and planning system data management.

 

Qualification: BE / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial Engineering)
