Deputy General Manager - Production

External Job Description

Responsibilities -
•    Responsible for Overall plant production
•    Maintaining the overall quality standards of products as per standards
•    Liable for keeping costs (Functional, Manufacturing and Operational) in control
•    Monitor expenses and responsible for achieving the targeted revenues
•    Rationalize/ Reduce manpower and succession planning
•    Responsible for allocating the yearly planned budget to functional heads.
•    Ensure assets utilization to defined capacity.
•    Ensure product certification before sending to the customer
•    Support implementation of TPM and Quality Management Systems.
•    Take initiatives for ensuring highest Environment, Health and Safety Standards
•    Drive Projects for process improvements and low cost automation and productivity improvement.
•    Inculcate innovation and breakthrough in operations.
•    Ensure the planning system is optimized from capacity planning, micro planning and schedule adherence to maximize delivery reliably
•    Build metrics for measuring plant productivity.
•    Influence Finance, Procurement and Human Resources to build high performance teams.
•    Knowledge on Industry 4.0 and implementation of SMART factory concept using tools like MES / VII

Qualification : BE / BTech

Skills required -
•    Strong on people management and drive people processes such as initiatives taken under Great Places to Work and other HR processes.
•    Able to drive cross functional teams.
•    Able to manage unions and give input wage settlement, resolve industrial disputes if any.
•    Able to liaise with government authorities, corporate and social institutions, appropriately with in governance and ethics code
