About Power Transmission & Distribution Business.

With over seven decdes of experience in the industry, KEC is aglobal leader in the power Transmission & DistributionEPC space. This is the largest business vertical of the company.

 

The company has capabilities to design, manufacture, test, supply and Erect transmission lines on turnkey basis up to 1,200 KV, along with end-to-end solutions for underground HT and EHV cabling works. The company also executes turney EPC projects that involve High Voltage Electrical Switching and Distribution Substations across the globe. JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

Responsible for establishing and promoting a quality culture at the site

Key Accountabilities

Duty Statements

 

Planning:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Prepare project specific quality plan and get them approved by client/consultant
  • Set the quality related goal for the sites/projects and determine & implement short term and long term strategies to achieve the same
  • Develop quality manuals and quality statements, work processes, work instructions and ensure implementation of the same
  • Arrange and manage various quality audits at site to obtain/maintain various certifications and ensure compliance 
  • Develop effective communication on Quality Management System
  • Analyze audit reports of different sites and find percentage of nonconformities for further improvements and need of training

  • Liable for implementing project Quality plan and Quality objective of the project
  • Responsible for overall quality control for civil and erection work
  • Perform regular inspection and testing as per standard procedure
  • Take necessary steps to obtain various approvals for various project activities-foundations, erection, stringing etc.
  • Handle testing of Concrete ingredients
  • Review operational practices and identify areas of obstruction / quality failures
  • Provide advice on system and process changes for qualitative improvement
