Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage the execution of projects for setting up Ebeam rubber cable manufacturing plants, ensuring timely and successful delivery Adherence to Preventative and Predictive maintenance plan (highest priority).
  • Reduction in cost of power consumption
  • Implementation of 5S and safety compliance.
  • Ensure transparent MDT & MTTR measures are in place (agreed by maintenance and production personnel).
  • Recommend CAPEX/ specific activities to improve the breakdown ratio to scheduled up time.
  • Be well-versed in the technical specifications of equipment, preparing comparative statements, and deriving utility requirements for the plant.
  • Provides expertise technical assistance in procurement of spares & equipment
  • Develop plant layout designs, including mechanical and electrical systems, and coordinate piping and other infrastructure requirements
  • Reviews and monitors Safety of Plants & Equipments and Occupational Health Hazards for personnel and guides in initiating improvements
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of the project.
  • Ensure that all project activities comply with safety and quality standards

 

 

Skill/ Competencies

 

 

 

Technical:

  • 10 to 15 years of experience, preferably in the cable industry, to oversee the execution of projects
  • Understanding of Six sigma, Lean Manufacturing practices

Functional:

  • Exposure to maintenance of rotating equipment (all hardware like gearbox, etc)
  • Good Knowledge of overall power plant operation.

Behavioural:

  • Well-developed man management, leadership.
  • An effective communicator with strong analytical, logical, problem solving, decision making, Troubleshooting & organizing capabilities
