Officer - Logistics

Responsibilities -

SAP & Sales Coordination

• Manage SAP Invoicing and other activities within the Sales Module.

• Support sales operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of dispatch and billing activities.

• Preferably from a cable or related manufacturing background.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Liaise effectively with various internal and external teams for FG Yard-related activities, including:

• Sales and Sales Commercial teams

• Transporters and Logistics partners

• Factory teams such as Production, Planning, QC, and HT-Admin (as required)

• End clients and site/project teams

FG Yard Management

• Oversee FG (Finished Goods) inventory and ensure systematic storage and movement of materials.

• Coordinate with packing and loading contractors for daily operations.

• Manage handover and takeover processes with the QC team across plants.

• Ensure effective utilization of MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

• Prepare and maintain dispatch MIS reports.

• Conduct safety (EHS) training for contractual workforce and monitor compliance.

• Arrange and maintain FG drums in the yard as per dispatch planning.

• Supervise packing, loading, and ensure adherence to basic discipline and safety norms.

• Represent the FG Yard during client audits.

• Ensure timely vehicle loading with all safety measures in place.

• Maintain adequate inventory of packing materials required for dispatch.

• Arrange and verify shipping marks prior to dispatch.

• Capture and archive photographs of 100% loaded vehicles for future reference and record-keeping.\

Qualification : Any Graduate

Technical:

• Expertise in SAP Invoicing process (billing, dispatch, delivery note generation, etc.)

• Knowledge of sales order processing, delivery scheduling, material movement, and stock reconciliation

• Understanding of FG inventory movement transactions (MM-SD integration)

• Knowledge of dispatch planning systems / TMS (Transport Management System)

Functional:

• Coordination for packing, loading, and dispatch activities

• Supervising contractual labor and packing contractors

• Ensuring timely shipment with compliance to safety standards

• Preparation of Dispatch MIS reports
