Responsibilities -
- Understanding of extrusion, conductor stranding, armouring, sheathing processes.
- Testing proficiency: IR(Insulation), HV, Conductor resistance, Oxygen index, Smoke density, Copper purity, Spectro etc.
- Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone).
- Familiarity with compounds (PVC/XLPE/LSZH) and their properties.
- Calibration systems & traceability; hands-on with lab instruments.
- Basic knowledge of EHS & 5S in testing labs and production areas.
- Cable testing knowledge must require.
Qualification: BE/BTech
Functional:
- Ability to analyse test data and identify trends.
Behavioral:
- Strong attention to detail and ownership.
- Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing.
