Senior Engineer - Quality

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage laboratory operations, ensuring testing is conducted as per applicable standards and procedures.
• Develop and maintain testing standards, methods, and procedures for Rubber & E-Beam products.
• Ensure technical validity, accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of test results and customer information.
• Manage calibration, preventive maintenance, measurement uncertainty, and control of testing equipment and reference standards.
• Oversee test data management, quality records, proficiency testing, inter-laboratory comparisons, and customer satisfaction surveys.
• Conduct quality control checks, repeatability studies, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for non-conforming test results.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, IEC, customer specifications, and other national/international standards.
• Lead quality assurance activities from raw material inspection to finished product approval.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, and process optimization programs.
• Manage in-house type testing facilities, testing documentation, compliance reports, and Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
• Develop QA systems and processes for new product development and manufacturing excellence.
• Coordinate with national and international laboratories for type and special testing requirements.
• Act as the key interface for customer audits, quality concerns, complaint resolution, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Lead internal and external audits, Management Review actions, and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Train, mentor, and develop quality personnel while promoting a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Represent the organization in industry forums, quality circles, and technical committees.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping requirements across laboratory and quality functions.
