Senior Manager - Projects (Civil)

Key responsibiliyies -

• Lead the execution of civil works for greenfield and brownfield industrial expansion projects.
• Prepare project execution strategies, work schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
• Ensure completion of projects within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Procurement, EHS, Finance, and external consultants.
• Review and approve civil layouts, structural drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Supervise construction activities including industrial buildings, production facilities, warehouses, roads, drainage systems, foundations, utility structures, and RCC/structural works.
• Monitor site progress and resolve engineering and construction-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IS Codes, NBC, statutory regulations, and industrial construction standards.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage civil contractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Review contractor bills, work measurements, variations, and change orders.
• Monitor contractor performance with respect to safety, quality, productivity, and timelines.
• Conduct regular progress review meetings and ensure contractual compliance.
• Prepare project cost estimates and capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets.
• Track project expenditures and implement effective cost-control measures.
• Ensure all civil activities comply with quality standards, EHS policies, statutory requirements, and project specifications.
